Advanced laparoscopy

Dr Kyriakopoulos, Dr Brattis and Dr Georgopoulos are trained in advanced minimally invasive procedures allowing them to treat pelvic, bowel and urinary endometriosis using keyhole surgery.

Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery

Thoracic endometriosis is a severe entity that can lead to lung collapse. Its treatment is surgical. At Athens Centre for Endometriosis we are able to perform VATS for thoracic endometriosis.

Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy can be used to diagnose uterine cavity issues and to remove fibroids or polyps. Dr Kyriakopoulos is trained in hysteroscopy and he performs it quite frequent in patients with uterine issues.

A type of endometriosis considered rare, urinary endometriosis can affect the urethers and the bladder, causing hydronephrosis.

Adenomyosis

Adenomyosis is a condition of the uterus and can co-exist with endometriosis and fibroids. Unfortunately, adenomyosis curative treatment is represented by hysterectomy.
